ABOUT US

Nanuri International School

Nanuri International school is a non-sectarian non-profit educational institution nestled in the meandering hills of Taguanao, Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. Nanuri is derived from a Korean word which means sharing. Its 30,901 sq.m. dominion is bordered by the adjacent knolls and expansive  river gushing towards Macajalar Bay.

Nanuri started as a mission and boarding school of the Seventh-day Adventist under the Philippine-Korea Prophet Foundation incorporated in 2004 by a Christ-inspired vision of Pastor Choi Young Yun and his wife, Park Sung Ja. It holds the goal of fostering the transformative power of advanced learning through its intensive curriculum to develop the whole person inculcating God’s standards and intensifying the balanced approach to education. The principal, along with her administrative team, faculty and staff composed of 100 teachers have been charged with the responsibility to strive for the highest standards in every respect. It enrolls approximately 300 students annually in the pre-school, grade school to senior high school, from Grades 1 to 12, respectively, and the ESL students. Being affiliated as an associate member of East-Asia Regional Councils of Schools (EARCOS), our students came from countries like Korea, China, Japan, America, Philippines, Germany, and many other countries. NIS admits students of any race, color, and nationality or ethnic origin with all the rights accorded them. Nanuri International School welcomes students who wish to improve their English Skills in a boarding or stay out school environment.
